DV-08897-24-560 — an SG Steffl-bred chequer cock, double grandson of “Ealswith” and grandson of “Beocca”, with a documented Pattaya training result from his own offspring. This pedigree concentrates two of SG Steffl’s Golden Algarve stars of 2022, combining ace-pigeon distinction with first-place success.

“Ealswith” DV-08897-22-1314 appears as both paternal and maternal grandsire. He was 1st Ace Pigeon Golden Algarve 2022, winning €50,000. The sire of the auction cock, DV-08897-23-1368, was bred from Ealswith paired to “Algarve Ace” DV-08156-18-442, a hen bred by Helmut Schulz.

The dam, DV-08897-23-1128, brings together Ealswith and “Beocca” DV-08897-22-1324. Beocca is recorded as 1st Algarve 2022, winning €200,000. This makes the auction cock a grandson of Beocca while reinforcing Ealswith through both parents.

The dam is a direct daughter of "King"—the sire of "Thomas," the winner of the Algarve race!!! Kings is the best OLR breeder!!

His own breeding record adds a further selling point: he is the father of DV 06220-26-1144, which placed 26th against 11,777 pigeons in Pattaya’s 15th training flight over 80 km. A concentrated SG Steffl pedigree supported by major grandparent achievements and a promising result in the next generation.

Schnappauf, racing as “Frankenpower” from Kronach, Germany, made a strong impression in AviRings Derby PRO 2026. DV-2026-06220-1014 scored 11th against 2,693 pigeons in Race 1 and 23rd against 2,471 pigeons in Race 2, both top-1% results. DV-2026-06220-1057 added a major distance highlight with 48th against 1,790 pigeons in Final Race 1/3 over 501 km. In the overall standings, the same pigeon achieved 17th in “champion of the nations,” 43rd in “3x500,” 67th ace pigeon new, and 84th in average speed.
