“Matilde” — ES-2026-64764 is a chequer hen bred by Team Hnos. Murcia, combining a directly proven Avirings performer with the family of Olympic Candela and Olympic Luna. Listed in the pedigree for Avirings OLR 2026, she offers a compelling blend of one-loft racing performance, Olympic family credentials and documented Van Loon–Engels ancestry.
Her dam, “Alexander” — DV 09459-25-725, is the outstanding immediate-family selling point. Bred by SG A. Hahn & S. Klein, Alexander achieved 1st Average Speed and 3rd Overall Ace at Avirings Derby 2025. Her results also include 17th in Race 1 against 2,101 pigeons, demonstrating the competitive quality behind those overall rankings. Matilde is also a great-granddaughter of “Simon” — DV 09564-22-366, bred by Team Wolfsberg, winner of the 2022 Golden Algarve Race semi-final against 4,276 pigeons.
Her sire, “H-Brother Olympics” — BE-2025-4056972, bred by V. Gaver & A. Abajo, is explicitly recorded as a half-brother to both Olympic Candela and Olympic Luna. Candela won the bronze Olympic medal in the YL category at Maastricht 2024 and ranked 2nd International FCI World Best Pigeon, YL, in 2023. Her race record includes 1st Regional against 5,963 pigeons over 417 km. Luna was 1st National Olympic Ace Pigeon, category A, for Maastricht 2024. These honours belong to Matilde’s sire’s half-siblings, providing strong collateral family evidence. The sire also has documented offspring results at Avirings OLR 2026, including 43rd in Race 3 against 2,417 pigeons.
Matilde’s paternal grandmother, “M. Olympic Candela” — PT-2019-9204298, is the recorded mother of Olympic Candela and carries the Van Loon–Engels combination through “Narciso” and “Portuguesa”. The other paternal branch includes PIPA Breeding’s “Junior Falls” and Tom Van Gaver’s “Tina Turner Finn”, both direct great-grandparents. On the maternal side, the pedigree adds documented Wolf/Ganus and Kornelius/Schilling bloodlines through “Der 3438”.
A daughter of an Avirings Average Speed winner and Overall Ace performer, backed by Olympic-winning relatives and a Golden Algarve semi-final-winning great-grandfather—Matilde brings together several distinct, documented sources of racing quality.
