DV-2026-4465-6 — a blue cock bred by ZG Scherre/Pitz, combining Gandalf’s documented breeding results with a dam successful from middle distance to 900 km. The pedigree brings together Schellens and Jos Thoné breeding, with repeated representation of Turbo 68 and connections to National 1 Schellens, Arinze and Kleine Figo.
His sire, Gandalf, DV-2016-1980-1964, has produced notable performers in both one-loft and conventional racing. His offspring “2225” finished 2nd in the 480 km final at OLR Lasterie-Zwieb, an event that began with 1,594 pigeons. Another offspring, “2206”, earned eight prizes from nine races and 589.92 ace points, including 1st St. Dizier over 329 km, 5th Etain over 251 km and 28th Châteauroux over 620 km. These are shared-sire family results; the pedigree does not establish that these birds are full siblings of the offered cock.
The dam, DV-2020-8575-1063, contributes a substantial racing record of her own: 3rd Sens over 448 km, 6th Troyes over 400 km and 134th National Narbonne in the hens category over 900 km. Her record combines prominent middle-distance placings with a documented national long-distance result.
Turbo 68, 08575-11-68, appears on both sides of the pedigree. Recorded as the loft’s fastest young bird in 2011, she is also grandmother of “231”, 22nd German National Ace Hen in 2019, with 12 prizes from 13 races and 928.17 ace points. Turbo 68 was bred from Jos Thoné’s BE-2009-5062158, a son of Arinze and Sumy, paired to BE-2009-5188138, a daughter of Kleine Figo and Smart girl.
The Schellens contribution includes Peter Trost’s 08978-08-240, documented as a grandson of National 1 Schellens. A pedigree-led offering distinguished by close-family one-loft performance, the dam’s own racing record and repeated breeding evidence behind Turbo 68.
