Little Blizzard – DV 02752-26-54, bred by Henrik Brinkmann, combines the Pierre Beyl–Dirk van den Bulck family behind two 1st National Ace Pigeons with Tom van Gaver’s documented Finn and Little Ricky lines. Recorded as the first youngster from Blizzard × Sister Little Finn 555, this pigeon also has its own AviRings 2026 results: 230th against 988 pigeons in the 521 km final and 218th Ace after three 500 km races.
The sire’s full-sibling results are a major attraction. Blizzard, BE 24-2035345, bred by Pierre Beyl, is a full sibling to Blizzard King Kittel, 1st National Ace Pigeon Sprint KBDB 2021, and Phantom Blizzard, 1st National Ace Pigeon Sprint KBDB 2024. Their shared parents are Blizzard 030, BE 19-2015030, and Dirk van den Bulck’s Grizzle Kitmachine, BE 19-6253359. Little Blizzard is therefore a grandchild of the pair that produced both national ace winners. This paternal branch continues through the Van den Bulck-bred Blizzard Machine and Gouden Kittel.
The dam brings close family evidence of one-loft racing success. Sister Little Finn, DV 02752-23-555, is a full sister to Little Finn, winner of the 598 km VFWCPR final in 2022 against 2,271 pigeons, five minutes ahead of second place. Both were bred from Tom van Gaver’s Hyper Little Ricky, BE 19-4233358, and Last Always Finn, BE 20-4037418. Sister Little Finn’s own offspring record includes 3rd against 1,041 pigeons over 150 km in HS2 and 81st against 3,334 pigeons in the 505 km final at Victoria Falls 2026; the pedigree does not identify the youngsters responsible for these results.
The maternal ancestry adds further depth: Little Blizzard is a great-grandchild of Little Ricky, 2nd National Ace Pigeon Allround KBDB 2019, and of Finn, BE 15-4211540, described as Tom van Gaver’s No. 1 foundation breeder. Another direct great-grandparent is Always There, 1st Provincial Ace Pigeon LD and 7th National Ace Pigeon GMD in 2015. A compelling combination of national ace-pigeon breeding, close-family final-winning performance and a documented 521 km final result of its own.
