Gert Rotman
NL-2026-4651019 (NL-2026-F045-09)
NL-2026-4651019 “Avi 019”, bred by Gert Rotman, combines close family evidence of one-loft racing success with De Rauw-Sablon and Koopman/Heremans bloodlines. Its headline credentials are clear: a documented half-sister to NL22-927, winner of Superstar OLR 2022, and a direct offspring of “Great 780” and the Clemens Ivanschitz-bred “Walter x Estrella”.
The paternal family offers outstanding OLR results. Sire NL-2021-4601780 “Great 780” is recorded as grandfather of NL24-354, 1st Ace Pigeon Costa de La Luz 2024 against 1,433 pigeons. The same branch records NL24-431 as 1st Ace Pigeon Derby Halkidiki 2024, in an edition starting with 2,105 pigeons, and 8th in the Halkidiki final against 1,003 pigeons, arriving in the first drop.
“Great 780” was bred from Jaak Koninx’s BE-2018-5055035 “Super Jaak 035”, carrying De Rauw/Sablon/Pros blood, and DV-2013-04628-365 “Algarve Queen” of SG Böwing & Jansen’s Algarve Couple family. “Algarve Queen” is documented as mother or grandmother of performers including 1st in the AGD final 2015 and 1st NPO Morl. against 8,028 pigeons. Her ancestry also records a New Freddy family connection.
The maternal side adds further OLR breeding depth. Dam AUS-2022-105-1451 “Walter x Estrella” is a daughter of AUS-2015-602-0684 “Walter”, carrying Koopman/Heremans blood, and AUS-2015-413-0011 “Estrella”, bred by Walter Straif. “Estrella” is recorded as mother or grandmother of the 1st Ace Pigeon Mira 2018. Further maternal ancestry includes Koopman/Veenstra, Straif/Heremans and Janssen/Delbar blood.
A compelling pedigree-led selection, with a winning half-sibling as its closest performance reference and multiple documented OLR successes behind both parental branches.
