A-2026-609-328, bred by Gratzer - Racing Pigeons and listed for the AviRings Derby 2026, combines Prange breeding and the Trix Champ family with a 100% Alfons Klaas-bred mother. Its pedigree brings together documented one-loft final winners, ace-pigeon rankings and successful close relatives.
A key attraction is the sire’s full-sibling performance. The sire, A605-25-508, is a full brother to A609-25-318, which achieved 8th Ace Pigeon and 7th in the 3x500km-Cup at the AviRings Derby 2025. Both are offspring of the Prange-bred DV01233-17-1676 and A609-22-257, “Daughter Trix Champ”—direct evidence of the racing quality produced by this pairing.
The paternal grandfather, DV01233-17-1676, also bred the grandparent of A609-23-302, winner of 2nd in the 607 km Ultimate Race at the AviRings Derby 2023. The paternal grandmother, “Daughter Trix Champ,” is a direct daughter of A609-13-365, “Trix Champ”: 1st in the 500 km Trix Derby final and 2nd Ace Pigeon in 2013. This places Trix Champ directly in the offered pigeon’s pedigree as a great-grandfather.
The mother, GB-2025-V11925, is a blue hen bred by J H Boyd, recorded as 100% Alfons Klaas. She earned 42nd in the Average Speed category at the AviRings Derby 2025. Her parents are the A.u.H. Klaas-bred “Victorious Klaas,” DV0507-21-378, and “Europa Klaas,” DV0507-21-331.
This maternal branch adds another direct final winner: “Fantom Junior,” DV0507-19-762, father of “Europa Klaas” and great-grandfather of the offered pigeon, won 1st in the EuropaMasterOLR final in 2019. A pedigree with a clear one-loft racing focus, supported by final-winning ancestors and a particularly relevant full-sibling result on the sire’s side.
