The sire, GB-2022-N23844, is bred from two pigeons recorded as Jelle Jellema bloodlines via Dean Pallatt. This branch includes NL-2017-1375280, a son of Boreas (Jellema) paired to Aphrodite (Beens), together with a daughter and a son of Wolter, himself a son of Arjan Beens’ noted breeding pair De Bergerac and Rika. These are documented pedigree connections, giving the paternal family a clear long-distance foundation.
The dam, GB-2019-B03057, is a sister to D&J Staddon’s outstanding distance performers Gemini and Fahrenheit. Gemini recorded 1st Section G, 4th Open Tarbes NFC in 2022 and 2nd Section, 11th Open Perpignan BICC in 2023. Fahrenheit achieved 1st Section, 2nd Open Perpignan/Rieux Minervois. These close maternal-family performances are an important selling point, demonstrating success at major distance events.
The maternal grandsire, Winters Gem, GB-2014-X07041, is recorded as inbred to Little Gem and as sire of Gemini and Fahrenheit. His parents are Pearler, a full brother to Little Gem, and Image, a daughter of Little Gem. Little Gem won 1st Open NFC Tarbes in 2013 against 2,945 birds over 728 miles, providing both direct ancestry through Image and a reinforcing family connection through Pearler.
The maternal granddam, Blue Gem, GB-2015-N89080, is a daughter of Freelands Gem, GB-2007-E22908, bred by Bill & Beryl Lewis. This great-grandparent of the offered pigeon finished six times in the first 100 Open from NFC Tarbes and earned the Certificate of Merit twice. Payment Instructions:
After the auction closes (within 24 hours), the winning bidder will receive an email with a purchase confirmation and payment instructions. Please note that the total bid amount will be increased by the applicable VAT (11%).
Collection:
Collection from AviRings is possible after payment during office hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM. If you wish to have your purchased pigeon(s) collected by another person (such as a friend, acquaintance, or transporter), please inform us in advance via email at info@avirings.com.
Shipping:
Shipment is possible after payment has been received. Transport costs are not included in the purchase price and must be paid separately.
Transport Options:
In November, we will organize pigeon transport to Austria, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Hungary, and Croatia. The transport cost will depend on the number of pigeons, approximately €10–15 per pigeon. Pigeons can also be collected at the Kassel Fair in Germany (November 28–29), or one day prior in the Netherlands and Belgium.
