AVRINGS — NLD-2026-4270303 is a chequer hen bred by J. Posthumus, combining the R.A. Bakker & Zn and Koopman families with Martin van Zon’s documented inbred Young Powerboy line. She is a daughter of Wringer, NL-2022-8307742, bred by R.A. Bakker & Zn, and Promise, NLD-2020-1771290, bred by Martin van Zon.

Promise brings valuable breeding evidence: her offspring 21-4220470 recorded 6th Vierzon, NPO Noord, against 927 pigeons over 743 km. Her pedigree concentrates Young Powerboy through both Goldenboy and Golden Dream, each recorded as a child of Young Powerboy paired with Juweel. Young Powerboy, NLD-2013-1201894, is credited with 1st NPO Argenton against 2,071 pigeons. This family also includes Sara, credited with 1st All-round Ace Pigeon and 1st Long-distance Ace Pigeon in Gouwe en IJssel.

The paternal family adds substantial NPO-winning quality. It includes Germiny, NL-2015-1522947, winner of 1st NPO Blois against 2,310 pigeons, and Artus, NL-2017-1101069, winner of 1st NPO Issoudun against 4,296 pigeons. The same branch records the Koopman-bred Adisa and the Bakker-bred Golden Phoenix.

Further strength comes from the siblings recorded for Daughter Artus, NL-2021-1032676: her sister “457” won 1st Pt.St.Max against 11,844 pigeons, while her brother “458” won 1st Pt.St.Max against 6,103 pigeons. These are collateral family performances, adding depth to a pedigree already supported by NPO winners and documented breeding success.

AVRINGS offers an appealing combination of concentrated Young Powerboy ancestry and the performance-backed Bakker–Koopman family.

Jelle Posthumus, competing in AviRings Derby PRO 2026 under Hans Boersma & Jelle Posthumus, delivered strong early-round performances against large fields. NL-2026-4270303 achieved 113th from 2,471 pigeons in Race 2 over 180 km, finishing in the top 5%, and 124th from 2,313 pigeons in Race 4 over 325 km, top 6%. NL-2026-4270328 added a solid Final Race 1/3 result with 216th from 1,790 pigeons over 501 km, top 13%. In the overall standings, the team’s best listed result is 127th in Champion of the Nations with NL-2026-4270303.
