NL-2026-8120415 brings together close-family one-loft race results, the Pau-winning family of Paulien and the Paarsborst blood of Ko van Dommelen. Bred from AVI 125 × Black Purple, this pigeon is a full sibling to two notable 2025 finalists—a major selling point of this pairing.
- 9th against 753 pigeons, OLR Zagreb Final 2025, 500 km. The pedigree describes a demanding final at 922 m/min, with only 32 pigeons arriving on the first day.
- 16th against 1,034 pigeons, OLR AviRings Final Race 1, 2025, 509 km.
The offered bird also has its own recorded AviRings performances, including 111th against 1,160 pigeons in Final R2 and 271st against 998 pigeons in Final R3.
The sire, AVI 125, NL-2023-9311125, bred by Paul van den Berg, scored 68th against 1,321 pigeons in the 400 km AVI Semi-Final and 33rd in the 607 km AVI Derby Race. He is a son of Blue Boy B&B and Sister Paulien, NL-2016-1383373. This paternal grandmother finished 85th National Pau ZLU 2020 and is a full sister to Paulien, 1st National and 1st International Pau 2020. Paulien is therefore a distinguished collateral relative, while her parents, Hellboy and the Verweij-de Haan hen NL-2014-1802026, are direct great-grandparents of the offered bird.
The dam, Black Purple, NL-2023-9635437, also bred by Paul van den Berg, is a documented half-sister to Athos and Purple Rain. Athos finished 17th in the 605 km SAMDR Final in 2014. Their shared sire, the offered bird’s maternal grandfather Son Paarsborst, NL-2010-5018009, also sired pigeons placed 5th and 13th in AviRings finals.
This maternal line leads directly to Paarsborst, NL-2003-0326801, bred by Ko van Dommelen: 1st National Dax ZLU 2006 and 1st National Lourdes 2005. Further pedigree depth comes through the Paarsborst × daughter Euro Diamond breeding of NL-2009-2091260, while the maternal grandmother, bred by Ron van Doorn, is recorded with Line 300 / Harry, Poelstra & Znn / Hooymans bloodlines. A compelling combination of documented sibling success, national-winning ancestry and established one-loft breeding performance.
