CH-2026-6146 — Simon Wolf breeding combining the Thomas 1–Romario family with Eijerkamp one-loft racing performance. Listed for Avirings OLR 2026, this pigeon is bred from Romario Rambo × Dark African Dream, bringing together a close connection to the 2024 Algarve Golden Race ace pigeon and the documented racing quality of Beetles AfricanDream.
The sire, Romario Rambo, 02241-23-481, is a half-brother to the 1st Ace Pigeon Algarve Golden Race 2024. That ace title was achieved in a field recorded as 7,182 pigeons. Romario Rambo is a son of Thomas 1, 01696-18-1, the sire of that ace pigeon, paired with Romario 11, CH-2021-21511, whose pedigree explicitly identifies Romario blood. Thomas 1 is himself bred from The King and The Queen; The Queen is described as a daughter of Romario. This gives the paternal family a documented Romario connection beyond the names alone.
The dam, Dark African Dream, NL-2024-8209410, was bred by H. & E. J. Eijerkamp from Cameron × Beetles AfricanDream. Her dam, Beetles AfricanDream, NL-2023-9099753, delivered the following standout performances at Afrika Pro OLR in 2023:
- 3rd in the 600 km final against 960 pigeons.
- 1st in Race 7 over 300 km against 1,367 pigeons.
- 9th in Race 9 over 330 km against 986 pigeons.
The maternal grandsire, Cameron, NL-2020-1249225, adds further evidence of breeding strength. His offspring are credited with 3rd in the 2024 As Golden OLR semi-final, 325 km against 607 pigeons; 4th in the 2023 As Golden OLR semi-final, 325 km against 550 pigeons; and 8th in the 2024 As Golden Winter Race final, 480 km against 505 pigeons.
The wider maternal pedigree includes Blue Magic, recorded as Heremans-Ceusters, Bonte Stefaan from Stefaan Lambrechts, and Bert from Gebr. Leideman A&B. A compelling pedigree for the one-loft racing enthusiast: Algarve ace-pigeon breeding on the sire’s side, complemented by a 600 km Afrika Pro final podium performer and repeated successful offspring of Cameron on the dam’s side.
