0340-26-917 — Thomas Pahnke-bred, combining documented AviRings performances with the Rischmüller/Püttmann lines and the close family of Algarve finalist “Tiger Woods”. This pigeon brings together its own racing evidence, a strong nest-sibling ace ranking and several generations of successful racers and breeders.

At AviRings 2026, 0340-26-917 recorded 79th in R5 against 2,206 pigeons and 188th in R3 against 2,417 pigeons. Particularly noteworthy is nest sibling “954”, recorded as 17th Ace Pigeon over three 500 km races—valuable supporting evidence from the closest family.

The dam, 01211-21-5053, bred by Norman Behrens, is a full sister to “Tiger Woods”, winner of 17th in the 2021 OLR Algarve final against 4,565 pigeons. She is a daughter of Karl-Heinz Koch’s “Tiger 231”, 0849-20-231, paired with 01211-20-4765, a daughter of the stock cock “Der 152”. This maternal branch also carries W. Hübner breeding, with CN-2017-522466 explicitly described as closely bred to his “180”.

The sire, 0849-24-271, was bred by Karl-Heinz Koch from Rischmüller/Püttmann stock. His father, 07276-17-984, comes from the closely bred “Hurrican 51” family and has documented breeding results: a son took 10th in HS1 at Victoria Falls in 2019, while another son finished 43rd over 505 km at the 2020 Usedom Derby. Behind this branch stands 03192-09-465, recorded as 43rd National Ace Hen in 2014.

The paternal grandmother, 0516-23-735, bred by Rainer Püttmann, adds a son of “Super Dohmen 100” paired with a daughter of “Pechvogel 6”. “Super Dohmen 100” is credited with eight first prizes. The same branch contains the Koopman-bred NL-2003-1732038, explicitly recorded as a daughter of “Kleine Dirk”, providing a documented connection to that line.

A compelling combination of individual performance, close-family results and established breeding lines, with the nest-sibling ace ranking and the dam’s full-sister relationship to “Tiger Woods” among its strongest attractions.

Thomas Pahnke has shown strong AviRings Derby performance, led by 4th place against 2,417 pigeons in AviRings Derby PRO 2026 Race 3 with DV-2026-0340-962. His team also delivered 21st against 1,161 pigeons in the 501 km Final Race 2/3 and 68th against 998 pigeons in the 521 km Final Race 3/3 with DV-2026-0340-951. In the 2026 overall rankings, DV-2026-0340-951 stood out with 14th in 3x500, 31st Average Speed, 49th Ace Pigeon New, and 13th Champion of the Nations. Additional top results include 28th in the 2025 Final race 3 and 28th against 1,878 pigeons in AviRings Derby 2024 Race 2.
