BG BG-26-78208 combines a father placed 2nd in the Golden Ring final with a maternal family rich in one-loft final performances, reinforced by the repeated influence of “Julia” and documented Hardy Kruger blood.
The sire is “Golden Ring 2”, RO-2023-236832, winner of 2nd in the Salonic Golden Ring final against 2,797 pigeons over 562 km. His pedigree adds further performance depth: his mother, TR34-22-3427, is a daughter of “GURUR”, TR-2021-93302, making the auction pigeon a great-grandchild of this hen. GURUR won the 409 km final at Kirkipinar Arena OLR in 2021 and ranked 3rd Ace Pigeon. The paternal grandfather, IT-2021-114565, is also an explicitly recorded half-brother to “BRANDON”, IT-2019-912626, credited with 1st Ace Pigeon and 5th in the final.
The dam, BG-2025-65611, brings especially valuable close-family evidence. She is a documented half-sister to BG 65017-25, 2nd in the Derby 16 Bursa final against 1,186 pigeons over 451 km, and BG 27177-23, 7th in the Kalimanci final against 955 pigeons over 513 km. These are performances of the dam’s half-siblings, demonstrating the competitive depth of her family.
The maternal pedigree is concentrated around “Julia”, DV-2014-02618-439, who appears as the father of both maternal grandparents. Maternal grandfather BG-2020-44936, from Julia × Alice, is a full brother to 26363-BG-18, 3rd in the 500 km Corabia-Spain final in 2018. Maternal grandmother BG-2021-54791 is a daughter of Julia and “Black Night”, GB-2017-P34727, the hen recorded as 100% Hardy Kruger and 4th in the 602 km Victoria Falls final.
A compelling pedigree proposition: direct offspring of a major final runner-up, backed by close maternal relatives with leading final placings and established final performers among its great-grandparents.
