A well-documented Derby performer with multiple measured results across sprint, middle-distance and 500 km races.

BE-2026-4090810 “Iron Avi Finn II” is a chequer cock bred by Team SkyBar-TVG, combining documented one-loft performances with a pedigree concentrated around the Finn family. His own results, a successful full brother and a strongly performing nestmate give this offering substance beyond the names on the pedigree.

At Avirings SI OLR 2026, Iron Avi Finn II recorded 198th in Final II over 501 km and 278th in Final III over 521 km. His nestmate, recorded as 008/26, achieved 66th in the 521 km Final III.

A headline attraction is his full brother’s record at AS Gold Race GR 2025: 6th in the 265 km semi-final and 36th in the 396 km final, supported by 16th Super Ace Champ and 24th Grand Av Ace. These close-family results provide direct evidence of the pairing’s ability to produce competitive one-loft racers.

He is a son of “G-Son Iron Finn” BE-2024-4173076 and “Charlies Little Finn” BE-2024-4128133, both bred by Tom Van Gaver. The paternal branch combines “Son Iron Finn” with “G-Child Finn Tetske”, his paternal grandmother, who achieved 2nd N.Z. Argenton against 2,676 pigeons in 2023. His great-grandfather “Iron Man” BE-2019-4207283 was 9th National Ace Pigeon KBDB, extreme long distance, 2023.

The maternal side adds a particularly attractive combination. His grandmother “Little Prince Finn”, bred by Henrik Brinkmann, is a direct daughter of “Prince Finn”, 3rd Ace AS Golden 2022, and “Little Finn”, winner of the VWFCPR final in 2022. Iron Avi Finn II is therefore a great-grandson of both. Through his maternal grandfather “Charlie's Kaasboer”, he is also a great-grandson of “Charlie”, ranked best yearling over five national long-distance races in 2018, and “Mylan Kaasboer”, bred by Gaston Van De Wouwer and placed 22nd National Bourges against 19,989 pigeons in 2015.

A concentrated Finn-family breeding prospect, backed by his own final-stage results and, importantly, demonstrated one-loft performance from his closest relatives.

Team SkyBar delivered an excellent AviRings Derby PRO 2026 campaign, led by BE-2026-4090818 winning 1st Champion of the Nations, 4th Ace Pigeon, 7th Average Speed and 11th in the 3x500 competition. The same pigeon also scored 57th against 998 pigeons in Final Race 3/3 over 521 km, 74th against 1,161 pigeons in Final Race 2/3 over 501 km and 115th against 2,206 pigeons in Race 5 over 405 km. Another standout was BE-2026-4090817, placing 23rd against 1,161 pigeons in Final Race 2/3 over 501 km and 54th in the 3x500 ranking. These results underline Team SkyBar as a highly competitive derby loft with proven performance over demanding middle- and long-distance stages.
