NL-2026-8525493 “CORNE VAN OEVEREN” is a red pigeon combining the Verweij–De Haan Robben family with a closely concentrated Jelle Jellema Lars × New Rena pedigree. A standout supporting point is its documented maternal half-sibling relationship to “Speedy Bokhara”, successful in the Avirings Derby 2025.
Close-family success in the Avirings Derby: “Speedy Bokhara” achieved 2nd Ace Pigeon, Speed, and 11th Ace Pigeon overall, while also contributing to 2nd place in the Jersey Cup against 496 teams. Both birds are out of “Bonte Lars”, making these results particularly relevant evidence of the maternal family's breeding strength.
The sire is “Rooie Robben” NL-2017-1130034, bred by Verweij–De Haan, a son of “Robben” NL-2014-1802121. This paternal grandfather earned 1st National and 1st International Ace Pigeon Pau over 2017–2018, backed by 5th National and 7th International Pau in 2018. “Rooie Robben” is also recorded as the father or grandfather of pigeons achieving 3rd NPO Perpignan 2025 and 6th NPO Bergerac 2024—breeding evidence rather than his own racing results.
The dam, “Bonte Lars” NL-2022-8153402, was bred by Jelle Jellema from “New Lars” NL-2021-1589541 and “Dochter Lars” NL-2021-1589540. Both maternal grandparents are recorded from the same pairing, “Lars” × “New Rena”, so this distinguished couple appears twice in the offered pigeon's great-grandparent generation.
- “New Lars”: 6th National Pau 2023.
- “Lars” NL-2018-1542052: 2nd National Perpignan 2020 and 37th National Barcelona 2021.
- “New Rena” NL-2017-1732286: 7th National Barcelona 2020.
A compelling combination of national and international long-distance credentials, reinforced by close-family ace-pigeon success in the Avirings Derby. The appeal lies in the direct Robben connection, the repeated Lars × New Rena pairing and the documented achievements of a maternal half-sibling.
