Sagan Vooruit 429 — NL-2026-8087429 combines two documented 501 km final performances with direct descent from Sagan, Angouleme Vooruit and New Kim. This pigeon brings together major NPO-winning blood, Belgian national excellence and the long-distance quality of Queen Remco 430.

At Avrilings 2026, Sagan Vooruit 429 recorded:

  • 83rd in Final Race 1 against 1,793 pigeons over 501 km.
  • 92nd in Final Race 2 against 1,160 pigeons over 501 km.

The dam, Daughter Sagan, BE-2024-6185791, is marked as DNA-verified in the pedigree and is a direct daughter of Sagan, NL-2012-1894136, bred by Jos Goessen. This makes the offered pigeon a grandchild of Sagan, winner of 1st NPO Bourges against 8,122 pigeons and 2nd NPO Lorris against 20,705 pigeons. Sagan himself was bred from De Argenton and Bettini Lady, the latter identified with Gaby Vandenabeele in the pedigree.

The sire, BE-2025-4108973, combines a son of Angouleme Vooruit and New Kim with Queen Remco 430. Sagan Vooruit 429 is therefore a great-grandchild of both Angouleme Vooruit and New Kim. Bred by Norbert & Stefan Ally, Angouleme Vooruit won 1st National Angoulême against 5,030 pigeons, also recorded as the fastest of 9,555 pigeons with a 17-minute lead. New Kim, associated with Gaston Van De Wouwer, earned 1st National Ace Pigeon KBDB, young birds, longer middle distance, 2018.

Paternal grandmother Queen Remco 430, BE-2020-4157430, raced by Ariën-De Keyser, adds both racing and breeding credentials: 20th National Ace Pigeon KBDB, long-distance yearlings, 2021, and grandmother of a 1st Interprovincial Orléans winner against 9,231 pigeons. She is a daughter of Taycan and Gloria II, reinforcing the long-distance foundation behind this pedigree.

Two 501 km final results, backed by a close combination of NPO winners, national champions and documented breeding success: Sagan Vooruit 429 offers a compelling blend of its own performance and distinguished ancestry.

Pipa Elite Center & Batenburg v.d. Merwe delivered a strong AviRings Derby PRO 2026 campaign, led by 3rd place against 2,471 pigeons in Race 2 over 180 km with NL-2026-8087500. The team also scored 13th and 44th against 2,206 pigeons in Race 5 over 405 km, plus notable final-race performances including 53rd against 1,161 pigeons and 81st against 998 pigeons over 500+ km. In the overall rankings, NL-2026-8088034 achieved 56th Average Speed, 104th Ace Pigeon and 11th Champion of the Nations. These results underline a competitive, internationally relevant entry with speed, depth and consistency across the AviRings Derby PRO program.
