CH 26-10423 — a chequer pigeon combining documented 500–520 km final results, successful siblings and the Herbots Kenzo–Yvan bloodlines. Its pedigree brings together national ace-pigeon ancestry on the paternal side and HJM De Weerd breeding through its dam, with close-family performances providing a compelling supporting story.
The bird’s own record includes 117th in Final 1 over 500 km, 193rd in Final 3 over 520 km and 233rd in Final 2 over 500 km, together with 196th in the AviRings AsDerby ranking.
Successful sisters are a major attraction. Sister 16252-25 achieved 3rd Ace Pigeon at Vac OLR in 2025, supported by 9th in Hotspot 2 over 235 km and 45th in the 500 km final. Sister 16253-25 added 26th in the Vac 500 km final. Brother 1820-25 was ranked 15th among the best young birds in 2025, with results including 5th from Messkirch over 125 km and 14th from Ulm over 200 km.
The sire, DV 6110-22-201, is a full brother to a racer credited with victories over 240, 300, 320 and 390 km, plus runner-up finishes over 460 and 500 km. These same breeding results are recorded for the sire’s parents: the Herbots-bred B 18-2148712, a son of Kenzo, and B 18-2135458, a daughter of Yvan.
This makes CH 26-10423 a great-grandchild of both Kenzo and Yvan. Kenzo, B 04-2116092, was 1st National Ace Pigeon KBDB, middle distance, in 2007. Yvan, B 07-2103401, is credited with 1st and 4th National Ace Pigeon KBDB, middle distance. Another direct great-grandparent, Olympic Yvan, CZ 233-15-3230, is recorded as 1st Olympic Ace in category G.
The dam, “Europa Master” NL 22-8514091, bred by HJM De Weerd, recorded 56th in a 420 km final and 53rd in the ace-pigeon ranking. Her ancestry also includes birds bred by Interpalomas Lofts and Veugelers. An appealing combination of personal final-race results, close-family OLR success and directly documented ace-pigeon ancestry.
