This chequer pied pigeon, listed for AviRings Derby PRO 2026, combines two carefully reinforced pedigree branches. The principal performance reference is great-grandsire Kalle, a five-time Barcelona prizewinner from 2010 to 2014, recorded with the Primus-Inter-Pares distinction.
The dam, DV 5583-20-0753, “Enk.Blanca+Kalle”, was bred by Menne und Töchter. She is a granddaughter of both Blanca, DV 5583-12-0242, described in the pedigree as a top breeder, and Kalle, DV 5583-08-0069. Kalle's documented Black Rose family connection runs through his dam, DV 7835-03-0183, explicitly identified as a half-sister to Black Rose. This is a collateral connection to Black Rose, supported by the actual pedigree rather than the bloodline label alone.
The maternal breeding pattern is particularly noteworthy: Blanca and DV 5583-15-0299, another great-granddam of the offered pigeon, are full sisters, both bred from DV 5583-06-0112, “Sohn Samantha”, and DV 5583-06-0011, “Tocht. The sire, DV 9049-23-0367, combines the Arie Dijkstra-bred Xavier, NL 13-1581547, and Princess, NL 13-1581524, through his parents. Xavier is bred from Helter Skelter and Nienke; Princess is from Castor and Baroness. After the auction closes (within 24 hours), the winning bidder will receive an email with a purchase confirmation and payment instructions. Please note that the total bid amount will be increased by the applicable VAT (11%).
Collection:
Collection from AviRings is possible after payment during office hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM. If you wish to have your purchased pigeon(s) collected by another person (such as a friend, acquaintance, or transporter), please inform us in advance via email at info@avirings.com.
Shipping:
Shipment is possible after payment has been received. Transport costs are not included in the purchase price and must be paid separately.
Transport Options:
In November, we will organize pigeon transport to Austria, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Hungary, and Croatia. The transport cost will depend on the number of pigeons, approximately €10–15 per pigeon. Pigeons can also be collected at the Kassel Fair in Germany (November 28–29), or one day prior in the Netherlands and Belgium.
