“Avirings Derby” — A609-26-487 is a cock bred by K. Nöres, combining close-family Aviringsderby performances with proven Tatry Derby breeding. His pedigree brings together M. & G. Pollin, A. Scherlaeckens, Horemans/Wieden, Janssen/Verbruggen and Gaby Vandenabeele ancestry.
A headline attraction is his full sister “280”, who achieved 54th against 1,034 pigeons over 500 km at Aviringsderby 2025. Both parents are recorded as the parents of this hen, providing direct evidence of the pairing’s ability to produce a competitive derby performer.
His dam, A609-22-548, also demonstrated her own quality at Aviringsderby 2022: 64th in the 520 km final, 35th Overall Ace Pigeon and 13th Ace Pigeon in the 3 Races Cup. She is a daughter of the breeding cock “1083”, A612-17-1083, whose daughter “259” finished 21st in the Avirings final over 508 km. The maternal granddam, “587”, A612-14-587, bred “1136”, winner of the Tatry Derby semi-final over 330 km. These are separate performances by close members of the maternal family.
The paternal side adds further breeding substance. His grandmother, A609-18-174, bred the 8th Ace Pigeon at Tatry Derby 2019 and is recorded as a sister of “117”, the 3rd Ace Pigeon at Tatry Derby 2018. She is a daughter of “Titan”, NL-17-1555843, bred by A. Scherlaeckens. The paternal grandfather, A612-19-380, bred “504”, which finished 32nd in the 505 km Halkidiki final in 2022.
Behind this derby record lies a clearly documented breeding foundation. The paternal great-grandsire, BELG-17-3000150, bred by M. & G. Pollin, is a grandson of “NUNO”. The Janssen/Verbruggen hen “135”, A413-10-135, appears in both parental branches, while the maternal family carries explicitly recorded Gaby Vandenabeele blood. A compelling pedigree for buyers seeking close-family derby results supported by established breeding lines.
