NL-2026-7051745 (NL-2026-F982-01)
NL-2026-7051745 brings together the R. Niks & Dtr/Bakhuis family and Gielen Pigeons, with documented marathon quality on both sides. A grandchild of Barcelona performer “Het Bontje” and a great-grandchild of both “Olympic White Star” and “De Wiersma”, this pigeon offers a pedigree supported by championship recognition and strong results against substantial fields.
The sire, NL-2025-1047684, combines two notable pairings. His father is a son of “Brother Robin” and “Olympic White Star” (NED-2020-1191330), recorded as 1st in the marathon category of the FCI World Best. His mother, NL-2022-8175500, comes from the special R. Niks x R. Bakhuis co-breeding of “De Wiersma” with “Gijsduivin 709”. Bred by E. Wiersma & ZN, “De Wiersma” (NED-2015-1234518) achieved 3rd Périgueux against 7,102 pigeons and 28th Bergerac against 6,219 pigeons. “Gijsduivin 709” is described in the pedigree as a super breeder and a half-sister to “Robin”.
The dam, NED-2022-8609881, was bred by M. Gielen Pigeons and is a daughter of “Het Bontje” (NED-2019-1080920). This maternal grandmother scored 93rd National Barcelona against 4,842 pigeons in 2022, with 15th Provincial against 647 pigeons in the same race, and also recorded 255th National Agen in 2021. Her sire, NED-2016-1729747 of the Saarloos/Nijssen bloodline, is a brother to the 1st International Narbonne winner of 2016—a valuable collateral connection, distinct from the direct ancestors’ own performances.
A compelling marathon-oriented pedigree: FCI recognition, large-field Périgueux and Bergerac performances, and close-up National Barcelona quality united in one bird.
