NL-2026-8210720 is a chequer pigeon bred by S&J Rans / van Limpt-Prut, combining the Stijn & Jeroen Rans family with Batenburg van de Merwe and van Limpt-Prut ancestry. Its strongest credentials include a national-winning grandmother, a dam with documented marathon performances, and a paternal family carrying notable national and international results.
A direct grandchild of “Astrid”: the paternal grandmother, NL-2014-1933906, bred by Batenburg van de Merwe and raced by Comb. Pijper, won 1st National S2 Bordeaux against 9,691 pigeons and was the fastest of 13,031 pigeons. She also demonstrated her value in the breeding loft as the mother of birds recording 15th National S2 Bergerac and 12th in the Derby Arona final in 2021. Astrid's pedigree traces directly through “Son New Ace” to “New Ace”, with the “St. Vincent doffer” also present in her ancestry.
The sire, “Son Halfbroth JEF” NL-2023-9435134, was bred by Stijn & Jeroen Rans from “Frans Jef 860” paired with Astrid. Through “Frans Jef 860”, the offered pigeon is a great-grandchild of both “FRANS Topbreeder” BE-2013-2185289 and “Mother Jef (Ace63)” BE-2010-2022116. Frans is credited as the father of pigeons achieving 11th National Agen in 2021 and 16th National Narbonne in 2020. The Mother Jef branch also records a breeding connection to 1st International Barcelona in 2019.
The dam, NL-2022-8587573, is recorded with 4th in the Marathon Championship in 2024 and 171st against 1,887 pigeons from Bergerac in Afdeling Oost-Brabant on 8 June 2025. She is a daughter of the directly obtained Stijn & Jeroen Rans cock “383 Stijn Rans”, paired with a van Limpt-Prut hen. This brings documented racing performance on the maternal side together with the national-winning and productive breeding background of the paternal family—a compelling pedigree for buyers seeking long-distance breeding potential.
