BG-2026-78151 — a direct child of GLADIATOR, combining documented long-distance derby results with the ORNAT and BEST KITTEL families. Bred by Petar & Kiril Raponski, this pigeon brings together a high-performing sire, successful paternal half-siblings and a maternal pedigree rich in racing achievement.
The sire, GLADIATOR (RO-2021-104923), bred by Petrita Leonard, finished 2nd against 2,653 pigeons in the total release at Nikolaev Golden Ring over 535 km in 2021. His breeding record adds important support to that performance. Two documented paternal half-siblings of the auction pigeon are:
- BG 60635-22: 4th Super Derby Fast Pigeons Rimini Winter over 625 km.
- BG 58527-22: 7th in the 638 km Extra Final at Derby Moledo in 2023.
These close-family results are a central attraction: they demonstrate GLADIATOR's ability to produce competitive offspring at distances beyond 600 km. He is bred from the Andreas Moeller pair Dario (DV-2020-03391-602) and AM Diana (DV-2020-03391-626). This branch also includes the J. Hooymans-bred hen DV-2018-03391-198.
The dam, ALDA, bred by Ado Family Loft, is a daughter of ORNAT paired to DAUGHTER BK. The auction pigeon is therefore a grandchild of ORNAT (DV-2012-2884-541), the H & F Sander-bred 1st Car Average winner. ORNAT is himself a son of WONDER 757 and the W. A. de Bruijn-bred LADY APOLLO.
Maternal grandmother DAUGHTER BK (BELG-2019-4130118) comes directly from BEST KITTEL × SHAKIRA, making both birds great-grandparents of the auction pigeon. BEST KITTEL (BELG-2015-1029362) was 1st National Ace Pigeon Sprint KBDB in 2017 and 4th National Ace Pigeon Sprint KBDB in 2016. SHAKIRA (BELG-2015-1011404) contributes two clear racing credentials: 1st Nanteuil against 1,738 pigeons and 1st Nanteuil against 1,401 pigeons.
A pedigree-led offering with compelling close-family derby evidence, a directly proven sire and clearly established descent from ORNAT, BEST KITTEL and SHAKIRA.
