NL-2026-2645158 combines the consistent one-day long-distance performance of Back Home with a proven maternal family headed by APPOLO and NPO winner LIEKE. Its pedigree brings together H. Ulijn & Zn. breeding with documented G. & S. Verkerk ancestry through OLYMPIC SOLANGE, OLYMPIC SPONGE BOB and BUBBLES.
The sire is Back Home, NL-2016-4034134, bred by H. Ulijn & Zn., who recorded 11 prizes from 14 one-day long-distance races across three seasons. The dam, NL-2020-1616108, is a daughter of APPOLO and LIEKE and has already bred offspring achieving 6th in the 600 km Ultimate race at the Avirings Derby Slovenia OLR in 2023. Her offspring's recorded results also include 2nd Nanteuil against 236 pigeons, 2nd Melun against 180 pigeons and 3rd Morlincourt against 626 pigeons, all in 2023.
Maternal grandmother LIEKE, NL-2017-4044345, supplies outstanding direct racing evidence:
- 1st NPO Châteauroux against 1,984 pigeons, also 5th National against 27,593 pigeons.
- 6th NPO Montluçon against 2,731 pigeons, also 14th National against 10,683 pigeons.
Maternal grandfather APPOLO, NL-2014-4178836, adds sustained championship quality: 1st Section 3 Ace Pigeon, one-day long distance, 2017, following 3rd in the same category in 2015. His pedigree also records a collateral connection to GILBERT, 1st National All-Round Ace Pigeon in 2011, through APPOLO's sire Donkere 08, described as GILBERT's brother.
On the paternal side, grandfather NL-2014-1462255, bred by G. & S. Verkerk, is a grandson of OLYMPIC SOLANGE, NL-2007-1817923. SOLANGE's recorded honours include Olympiad All-Round recognition in 2009 and 1st National NPO Middle-Distance Ace Pigeon in 2008. This branch also traces directly to OLYMPIC SPONGE BOB and the Schoerlaeckens-bred BUBBLES. Paternal grandmother HET ZWERVERKE reinforces the breeding credentials as dam of the bird recorded as 14-104, winner of 14th NPO Gien against 4,224 pigeons and 15th Section 3 Sézanne against 8,552 pigeons.
A pedigree-led prospect with close-up national-level racing results, parental breeding evidence and established Verkerk ancestry.
