NL-2026-8404459 — Jelle Jellema-bred blue pigeon, full sibling to a multiple club winner and carrying two direct lines to KITTEL. A combination of Comb. Mantel's ALEXIO–Klasina family and Mark Gilbert's Southfield Kittel breeding, backed by documented racing and breeding results.
Close-family success is a leading attraction: full sibling NL-2026-8404421 won multiple first prizes at club level in young-bird racing. The offered pigeon also has its own recorded performance: 60th HS1 Aivrings, 2026.
The sire, NL-2024-8049972, “son Alexio x Klasina”, was bred by Comb. Mantel and has bred offspring recording 4th Marche against 2,908 pigeons and 8th Chalons against 1,063 pigeons, both in 2026. His parents bring substantial performance credentials:
- Paternal grandsire ALEXIO, NL-2022-8053937: 7th in the 505 km Algarve Golden Race final against 3,622 pigeons in 2022.
- Paternal granddam Klasina, NL-2018-1396463: winner of 1st Chimay against 1,497 pigeons, with further victories at Heusden-Z and Burdinne.
The dam, “Double Kittel 491”, GB-2025-D60491, was bred by Mark Gilbert from Southfield Kittel 09 × Southfield Kittel 22, both bred by Flanders Collection and both direct children of KITTEL, BE-2013-6139803. Thus KITTEL, the 1st National Ace Pigeon KBDB 2013, appears twice as a great-grandsire of the offered bird. Southfield Kittel 09 is also the sire of an 11th Open BICC Guernsey performer against 5,281 pigeons, providing further evidence of this maternal family's breeding strength.
The deeper pedigree includes direct ancestry from GOEDE RODE, OLYMPIC ROSITA and NEW KITTEL on the maternal side, with ALONSO, AMY, JASON and OLYMPIC AMADOR supporting the paternal family. An appealing pedigree uniting close-family young-bird success, a major one-loft final placing and concentrated Van Den Bulck ancestry.

Payment Instructions:
After the auction closes (within 24 hours), the winning bidder will receive an email with a purchase confirmation and payment instructions. Please note that the total bid amount will be increased by the applicable VAT (11%).
Collection:
Collection from AviRings is possible after payment during office hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM. If you wish to have your purchased pigeon(s) collected by another person (such as a friend, acquaintance, or transporter), please inform us in advance via email at info@avirings.com.
Shipping:
Shipment is possible after payment has been received. Transport costs are not included in the purchase price and must be paid separately.
Transport Options:
In November, we will organize pigeon transport to Austria, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Hungary, and Croatia. The transport cost will depend on the number of pigeons, approximately €10–15 per pigeon. Pigeons can also be collected at the Kassel Fair in Germany (November 28–29), or one day prior in the Netherlands and Belgium.
