Bred for the AviRings Derby 2026, this pigeon combines a sire with documented results over 520 and 607 km with a maternal family producing notable one-loft race performances. The pedigree brings together Nöres × Deigner and Nebel × Roodhooft, alongside Heinrich Steirer breeding.
The sire, A609-24-16, achieved 64th in the 520 km Final and 165th in the 607 km Ultimate Final at the AviRings Derby 2024. His sire, A609-21-11, adds another direct racing credential: 33rd in the 505 km Super Final from Kalimaci at Derby Halkidiki 2021. The paternal grandmother, A609-23-241, was bred by Heinrich Steirer.
The dam, A609-24-120, is a half-sister to three documented OLR performers:
- “6”: 15th in the 505 km Extra Super Derby at Derby Halkidiki 2026.
- “14”: 8th in the AviRings Derby 2022 “3-races-cup” ranking.
- “Augustus”: 14th in the 510 km Talent Quatro final in 2019.
The maternal grandsire, A609-22-698, Nöres × Deigner, is the father of “6” above and of “36”, which placed 64th in the 520 km AviRings Derby final in 2023. The maternal grandmother, “Kleopatra”, A309-18-546, Nebel × Roodhooft, bred “Augustus” and “12”, the latter taking 27th in the 505 km Derby Halkidiki Super Final in 2021. Her pedigree includes a hen bred by Hermann Berling and explicitly recorded as 100% Roodhooft.

Payment Instructions:
After the auction closes (within 24 hours), the winning bidder will receive an email with a purchase confirmation and payment instructions. Please note that the total bid amount will be increased by the applicable VAT (11%).
Collection:
Collection from AviRings is possible after payment during office hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM. If you wish to have your purchased pigeon(s) collected by another person (such as a friend, acquaintance, or transporter), please inform us in advance via email at info@avirings.com.
Shipping:
Shipment is possible after payment has been received. Transport costs are not included in the purchase price and must be paid separately.
Transport Options:
In November, we will organize pigeon transport to Austria, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Hungary, and Croatia. The transport cost will depend on the number of pigeons, approximately €10–15 per pigeon. Pigeons can also be collected at the Kassel Fair in Germany (November 28–29), or one day prior in the Netherlands and Belgium.
