A609-26-34 – bred by Gratzer - Racing Pigeons, combining a 508 km AviRings finalist with a maternal family carrying repeated one-loft race results. Listed for AviRings Derby 2026, this pigeon brings together Hannes Weinberger’s racing family with Nöres × Deigner and Nebel × Roodhooft breeding.
The sire, A413-25-958, bred by Hannes Weinberger, won 53rd prize in Final Race 1 of the 2025 AviRings Derby over 508 km. His father, A413-16-619, adds sustained racing consistency: nine prizes in each of 2018, 2019 and 2020, followed by eleven prizes in 2021. This paternal branch carries documented Van Diest and Rothhaar Janssen bloodlines.
The dam, A609-24-119, is a half-sister to three notable OLR performers:
- “6” – 15th in the 505 km Extra Super Derby at Derby Halkidiki 2026.
- “14” – 8th in the AviRings Derby 2022 “3-races-cup” ranking.
- “Augustus” – 14th in the 510 km Talent Quatro final in 2019.
The maternal grandparents reinforce these results with documented breeding success. A609-22-698, Nöres × Deigner, is the father of “6”. The maternal grandmother, “Kleopatra”, A309-18-546, Nebel × Roodhooft, is the mother of “Augustus” and also produced “12” and “11”, respectively 27th and 33rd in the 505 km Derby Halkidiki Super Final in 2021. Kleopatra’s own mother, DV653-16-440, bred by Hermann Berling, is recorded as 100% Roodhooft.

Payment Instructions:
After the auction closes (within 24 hours), the winning bidder will receive an email with a purchase confirmation and payment instructions. Please note that the total bid amount will be increased by the applicable VAT (11%).
Collection:
Collection from AviRings is possible after payment during office hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM. If you wish to have your purchased pigeon(s) collected by another person (such as a friend, acquaintance, or transporter), please inform us in advance via email at info@avirings.com.
Shipping:
Shipment is possible after payment has been received. Transport costs are not included in the purchase price and must be paid separately.
Transport Options:
In November, we will organize pigeon transport to Austria, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Hungary, and Croatia. The transport cost will depend on the number of pigeons, approximately €10–15 per pigeon. Pigeons can also be collected at the Kassel Fair in Germany (November 28–29), or one day prior in the Netherlands and Belgium.
