DV-2026-02741-395 — a direct youngster of “Lotus”, with his proven one-loft racing family reinforced on the maternal side. This pedigree combines documented Algarve, AviRings and Victoria Falls performances with the Hallmann/Kock-Schröder breeding family and Reinhard Gebhardt’s “Special Chance” branch. “Lotus” appears both as the sire and as a maternal great-grandsire of the offered pigeon.
Sire: “Lotus” — 02741-19-677. Bred by Hallmann/Kock-Schröd, this blue cock finished 172nd in the Golden Algarve Race final against 3,522 pigeons. His breeding record provides an even stronger selling point, with several offspring recording noteworthy one-loft results:
- “Testarossa” — 02741-21-272: 78th in the Algarve Golden Race final over 498 km against 4,565 pigeons, plus 12th Ace Pigeon.
- 02741-24-199, a paternal half-sibling of the offered pigeon: 10th Ace Pigeon in the 3 Race-Cup and 17th Ace Pigeon across all flights at AviRings 2024, with 59th in the 364 km Hotspot 5 against 1,379 pigeons. This bird was bred from “Lotus” and “Special Chance”, the offered pigeon’s maternal grandmother, providing performance evidence connecting both sides of the pedigree.
- “Roadrunner” — 02741-20-964: 295th in the Victoria Falls final over 600 km against 1,555 pigeons.
The paternal grandparents add established breeding depth. Cock 05910-12-46, a son of “Pitje”, and hen 03801-12-53, a daughter of “Romario”, together produced two youngsters that took 5th and 12th in the 402 km final of the Schleswig Holstein Derby in NMS in 2013. The same cock also sired another daughter that finished 7th in an NMS final.
Dam: 02741-25-1235, a chequer hen bred by Hallmann/Gebhardt. Her pedigree brings “Lotus” back through her sire, while her dam is “Special Chance” — 02227-22-1380, bred by Reinhard Gebhardt. “Special Chance” is a daughter of “Blue One Special” and “New Chance”.
Further documented ancestry includes “Romario” — 03801-06-338, whose parents are recorded as Ad Schaerlaeckens-bred birds, and the “Pitje” branch descending from “Goude Jaarling”, an Olympiad pigeon in 2001, paired with Louis van Loon’s “Juweeltje”. A compelling pedigree for buyers seeking a concentrated “Lotus” connection backed by results from several offspring and successive generations.
