DV-2026-02741-0538, bred by Manfred Ruf, offers a maternal pedigree supported by results in the Algarve Golden Race, Victoria Falls and Talent Quattro. The standout connection is through its dam, a full sister to “Testarossa”, which achieved 78th in the 498 km Algarve Golden Race final against 4,565 pigeons and was also recorded as 12th Ace Pigeon.
The sire is DV-2018-05802-0014. The dam, blue hen DV-2022-02741-1247, brings both close family performance and documented breeding evidence: her offspring 02741-23-1111 finished 146th in the 500 km Talent Quattro final against 853 pigeons. This result belongs to another offspring of the dam, not to the pigeon offered here.
The maternal grandsire, “Lotus,” DV-2019-02741-677, recorded 172nd in the Golden Algarve Race final against 3,522 pigeons. Paired with the maternal granddam, DV-2020-02741-970, “Sister of Zeus,” he also bred Testarossa—the dam’s successful full sibling. This gives the offered pigeon a direct connection to the pair behind that notable Algarve performance.
The maternal granddam’s breeding record adds another dimension through “Torpedo,” 02741-21-264, which achieved 268th in the 598 km Victoria Falls final against 2,271 pigeons and 69th Super Ace Pigeon.
A compelling family-based offering: close kinship to Testarossa, a maternal grandsire with his own Algarve final result, and documented offspring performances from both the dam and maternal granddam. The principal attraction is the demonstrated racing and breeding strength of this maternal family.
