NL-2026-8404460 — Jelle Jellema-bred blue pigeon, full sibling to a multiple club winner and carrying Kittel twice as a great-grandsire. With 60th in Avirings HS1 in 2026 already recorded, this youngster combines the Mantel racing family of Alexio and Klasina with Mark Gilbert’s Southfield Kittel breeding.
A major selling point is the full-sibling connection: NL-2026-8404421 won multiple first prizes at club level in young-bird racing. This close family evidence complements the offered pigeon’s own result and gives the pedigree more than ancestry alone.
The sire, NL-2024-8049972, ‘son Alexio x Klasina’, was bred by Comb. Mantel. His offspring include performers recording 4th Marche against 2,908 pigeons and 8th Chalons against 1,063 pigeons, both in 2026. The paternal grandfather, Alexio, NL-2022-8053937, achieved 7th in the 505 km Algarve Golden Race final against 3,622 pigeons in 2022. Paternal grandmother Klasina, NL-2018-1396463, bred by T&J Geertsma, adds direct winning quality with 1st Chimay against 1,497 pigeons.
The dam is Mark Gilbert’s ‘Double Kittel 491’, GB-2025-D60491, a daughter of Southfield Kittel 09 and Southfield Kittel 22, both bred by Flanders Collection. Each is a direct child of Kittel, BE-2013-6139803, 1st National Ace Pigeon KBDB 2013, establishing the repeated Kittel connection through actual parentage. Southfield Kittel 09 is also documented as sire of 11th Open BICC Guernsey against 5,281 pigeons.
Behind these maternal branches stand Goede Rode and Olympic Rosita, the parents of Kittel, while Southfield Kittel 22’s dam is a daughter of New Kittel. An appealing combination of documented one-loft final performance, established race winners and concentrated Van Den Bulck ancestry, reinforced by a multiple-winning full sibling.

Payment Instructions:
After the auction closes (within 24 hours), the winning bidder will receive an email with a purchase confirmation and payment instructions. Please note that the total bid amount will be increased by the applicable VAT (11%).
Collection:
Collection from AviRings is possible after payment during office hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM. If you wish to have your purchased pigeon(s) collected by another person (such as a friend, acquaintance, or transporter), please inform us in advance via email at info@avirings.com.
Shipping:
Shipment is possible after payment has been received. Transport costs are not included in the purchase price and must be paid separately.
Transport Options:
In November, we will organize pigeon transport to Austria, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Hungary, and Croatia. The transport cost will depend on the number of pigeons, approximately €10–15 per pigeon. Pigeons can also be collected at the Kassel Fair in Germany (November 28–29), or one day prior in the Netherlands and Belgium.
